Meet the Team – Matt Woolf
My name is Matthew Woolf. I started working at Chemical Concepts in July 2012 as an intern during my last quarter in the Art Institute of Philadelphia. I graduated from there with a bachelor degree in Web Design and Interactive Media.
- Can you play any instruments?
Yes, I can play many percussion instruments. I’ve played the snare drum, cymbals, triangle, part of the rack in an indoor drum line, and the BIG bass drum in the marching band. I’m only about 5’2″ and I was carrying a drum that weighed a LOT and was at least half my height, so picture a scrawny senior in high school carrying a huge bass drum.
- What’s your favorite indoor activity?
Probably being on the computer playing games, watching YouTube videos, and chatting to friends. I love playing strategy, RPG, and MMORPG video games on the computer during my free time. I have over 100 games brought on the PC, and not even all of them are downloaded. I have only about 60 or 70 of them downloaded on a portable hard drive of mine. Also, I like playing chess online every now and then as well.
- If you could have any one superpower, which would you choose?
If I could have any one superpower, I’d either pick flying or I’d pick the ability to make any type of food I want appear right in front of me. I’d make tacos, burritos, slices of cheese, and peanut butter ice cream sundaes appear in front of me whenever I was hungry. I know that superpower would be ineffective at fighting crime, but at least I’d be able to fight world hunger instead. And if that superpower wasn’t available for me to have, I’d like to be able to fly so I could avoid all traffic forever.
