Keep-Nut™ Pull Test Results
Chemical Concepts and Specialinsert s.r.l. have been investing in our technical library for the Keep-Nut. Over the last year, we have been sourcing both natural and man-made materials of various types and testing tensile and shear pull out results to ASTM standards using an independent lab.
So far, we have tested several types of granite and marble, Polycor Ultrathin 10mm slabs, Lapitec S.p.a sintered stone, SapienStone – Dress your Kitchen Porcelain, and UHPC. We are expecting results from NEOLITH® by TheSize, Crossville Inc. Porcelain and COSENTINO Dekton & Silestone in the next few weeks as well.
For any engineers, architects, fabricators, or installers in this group, we have linked to the results below. Our hope is that these references will be helpful information as you select fixing methods for upcoming projects involving vertical cladding, facades, furniture or countertops.
Let us know if you have any questions or feedback. You can contact us on our social media accounts or email us at sales@chemical-concepts.com
Thank you to the manufacturers above who have supplied us material for testing and thank you to the Natural Stone Institute laboratory for their excellent support and all the work they do for the industry!
