As the Territory Sales Representative – South Central, you will be leading the charge on our geographic expansion, developing a new territory that has tremendous potential. You will join a team of industry veterans, with strong customer relationships and extensive knowledge about adhesives and product assembly. You will be operating under a commission structure that incentivizes new business development and growth and rewards success with no caps on commissions and extra bonuses for meeting and exceeding sales and profitability targets. Your goal will be to find, target, and acquire new customers, utilizing a consultative sales approach, handle inbound leads and inquiries, and reach out to existing customers in search of growth opportunities.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- You love the hunt and excel at finding and closing new business
- You utilize a consultative approach to discover problems in the prospects’ organizations and use your expertise to prescribe appropriate solutions to help them achieve their desired outcomes
- You have the required business acumen and intelligence to quickly understand your customer’s business problems and technical challenges and to develop creative solutions
- You possess great listening and questioning skills
- You are comfortable working with operations managers, production managers, engineers, and business owners and can “speak their language”
- You are able to learn, retain, and apply technical information
- You can communicate verbally and in writing in a way that establishes trust, confidence, and competence
- You can think outside the box to get things done and use all resources at your disposal
- You are results-oriented and possess a positive; can-do mindset
- You have excellent time management and organizational skills
- You are proficient with technology and a power-user of CRM and other sales enablement tools
- You are well-versed in prominent sales models and methodologies such as Gap Selling, Base-line selling, SPIN Selling, the Challenger Sale, etc.
- You have a track record of success in cold calling and prospecting
- You excel at social selling
- You are great with numbers and fluent in retail math (margin, markup, etc)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year university
- 3+ years of experience in related field
- Intelligence, character, coachable, experience
- Focused on a long-term sales career
Bonus Points
- Experience in the adhesives industry, industrial distribution, surface fabrication, signage fabrication, and/or manufacturing businesses
- Expertise in adhesives, sealants, tapes & specialty fasteners
- Spanish language skills
