How Do I Bond “This” to “That?”

One of the most common questions we get from customers is how do I bond this item to that item. Examples of this would be:

  • How do I bond stone to stone?
  • How do I bond wood to galvanized steel?
  • How do I bond bare aluminum to urethane foam?

Fortunately our friends at LORD Corporation have a wide range of products that can be used for these specific projects, depending on which question applies in your case. We’ve broken our answers down into an easy-to-read chart for you to reference as you see fit.

Say you are wondering what adhesive is best to use when bonding ceramic to glass? Simply look at the cell on our chart where ceramic/stone crosses with glass, and see that the LORD 7000 series line of products would do the trick. Note that for all glass and rubber bonding projects, you’d need an adhesive primer or promoter.
