Description

Poly 74-30 Clear Liquid Rubber is a two-part, liquid polyurethane system that cures (RTV) to a transparent amber, Shore A30 rubber. This is the transparent version of Poly 74-30 Liquid Rubber. This product is useful for molds where clarity is needed to see casting material fill the cavity. This liquid polyurethane rubber can also be used for casting clear amber or color-cast flexible art objects and décor. Poly 74-30 Clear is a pourable rubber, but it can be easily thickened with PolyFiber II Thickener for brush-on application.

The color of polyurethane Part Bs may change in color from batch to batch or may darken with age, but product performance is not affected. For additional physical property specifications, refer to the Physical Properties Bulletin. This mold rubber is the industry standard for sculpture and foundry applications. This pourable rubber can easily be thickened with PolyFiber II for Fumed Silica for brush-on application when desired. Poly 74-Series Liquid Rubbers consist of two parts (A and B), which, after mixing, cure at room temperature to flexible, high-strength, mold rubbers. Poly 74-Series Rubbers make durable, easy-releasing molds for casting plasters and waxes without release agents. When Poly 74-Series molds are properly prepared, they are also excellent for casting concrete and various resins, such as epoxy, polyester, polyurethane and acrylic.
