Manufacturer Spotlight: Creative Materials
We are proud to stock products from a huge number of reputable manufacturers. Today we want to spotlight Creative Materials, a uniquely innovative company with over 30 years of conductive technology experience.
Creative Materials specifically develops and manufactures adhesives, coatings, and inks, including a large number of standard and custom formulations for electronic material attachment specializing in microelectronics, biotechnology, telecommunications, and photovoltaic technologies.
Conductive inks and adhesives replace traditional materials and can be used in a variety of electronic and medical applications. These are just a few of Creative Materials’ products and their market capabilities.
Conductive Silver Inks – encompass a wide range of markets, including consumer electronics, medical devices and alternative energy solutions. Ideal for pad printing, screen printing, EMI/RFI shielding of circuits, and membrane switches.
Electronically Conductive Adhesives – for manufacturing solar cells, medical instruments, aerospace and automotive components. These adhesives boast highly conductive capabilities at a lower cost.
Thermally Conductive Adhesives – for heat-generated electronic components (LED’s, computers and anything that produces a heat sink). Thermally conductive adhesives are completely chemically and elevated temperature-resistant.
Anisotropic Adhesives – also called Z-axis adhesives, these are extremely conductive. Low temperature, fast cure means faster manufacturing for ribbon cables, PTF circuits, and electrical attachments such as antenna assemblies.
Silver-Silver Chloride (AG/AGCL) – for manufacturing ECG, EEG, TENS pads, defibrillators, and any transdermal drug delivery pads.
All these products encompass the aerospace, automotive, medical, and a wide range of electronics industries due to their conductivity and the wide range of materials or substrates that can be bonded. Kapton, mylar, glass, polycarbonate, polyamide, polyester, ITO-coated surfaces and Teflon are a few of the substrates that benefit from conductive adhesives.
Typically, room-temperature curing results in low conductivity and poorer handling strength. However, Creative Materials’ neutral cure adhesives always result in excellent conductivity and low sensitivity to handling and ambient conditions.
Creative Materials GPC-251 Epoxy
Creative Materials GPC-251 epoxy is also customizable to each project. If your job requires more flexibility with lower stress, then Complimentary B components are right for you. If the job requires high-strength application, the Standard B component will be the correct choice. This is a two -part, room temperature curing, silver filled epoxy adhesive designed for making electrical and mechanical attachments on electrical components and devices. Because it is unlike other room temperature curing systems, this product always results in excellent conductivity and less sensitive to handling and ambient conditions.
When it comes to customer satisfaction and quality assurance, Creative Materials is second to none. Replacing higher-cost silver-filled adhesives, Creative Materials’ epoxies feature excellent adhesion to copper, aluminum, ceramic, and more.
